buckwheat of shrimp tempura

Last night, I ate buckwheat. Last night was very cold so I wanted to eat hot supper. This was very simple. Big shrimp tempura was into the buckwheat. We boil buckwheat and put it into soup. Then put leek, wakame(soft seaweed),tempura, and anything we want. Not only tempura but also we can put relish, egg and anything that taste good. This was very good but a little thick so I pour water to it. Buckwheat is plain food and easy to cook so Japanese often eat this. We also eat this when a year changećI mean from December 31st to January 1st. We call this habit '' Toshikosisoba''.

Buckwheat is one of my favourite foods. It's very common in Poland where it's called "kasza" (said like [KA-sha]). A friend brought me some kasza from Hokkaido recently so I'll have to try it and see if it's much different from the Polish kasza. In Poland they like to eat it with an egg on top. I like to eat it wish fish. I like how it's not as sticky as rice and it's healthier too.
